Visit the Crown Jewel of the Riviera Maya - The El Dorado Seaside Suites

The El Dorado Seaside Suites in Kantenah, Mexico is one of the most beautiful all inclusive resorts I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing.  When you drive off the main highway (a little past Playa Del Carmen proper), onto the grounds of the resort, you literally enter another world.  It is a place of peace and beauty that will take your breath away.

The palm trees, flowers, manicured courtyards and jungle-like atmosphere makes you forget that you are anywhere near civilization, yet everything you could possibly want, need or desire is at your fingertips and the service is impeccable.  When we arrived, we were greeted with cool, herbal towels to refresh ourselves after a long travel day.    

Once inside the lobby, we had complimentary champagne and hor d'oeuvres while we waited to check in.  Our luggage was unloaded for us and we never laid eyes on it again until we reached our room.

We took a quick stroll down the beach and soaked up the afternoon sun with an included tropical beverage.  The bar service was superb as were the views, beach chairs and covered cabanas nearby.

The El Dorado Seaside Suites is a perfect place for a destination wedding or family event, plus they offer free kayaking, snorkeling, coconut painting, ceramics and scuba lessons to name a few!

Guacamayas was our nightly hangout, where we enjoyed live music, dance lessons, games and swinging along to the soothing beat.  This is THE place to relax in the open air and have a great time along the way.  I even participated in a dance contest with a sizzling Salsa number! Great fun every single evening!

Beautiful lights slowly come to life as the gorgeous sun sinks below the horizon. You can lounge right here by the water and soak in the salt air as the night settles in.  This is some serious relaxation!  

Five star restaurants abound at the El Dorado Seaside Suites.  They have every type and style of cuisine imaginable, from a slow-smoked beachside barbecue feast to the finest of first class dining venues. This is Mia Casa, a top notch fine Italian dining spot and one of my personal favorites.  Others include Klay Talay - Asian/Wok Cuisine, La Carreta - Authentic Mexican Cuisine, Arreciffes - International Cuisine, and many, many more.  You simply must experience them for yourself!
